Come for the art, stay for the fun, food and music. For North Texas families, it’s time to celebrate the 17th annual Art in the Square. This Southlake Town Square event is ranked as one of the nation’s best fine art festivals.

Presented by the Southlake Women’s Club, Art in the Square offers the chance to view and buy juried art by 150 different artists, selected this year from 841 applications, the highest number in the event’s history. The artists, from every state and more than 70 countries, present their art in paint, sculpture, glass and textiles in two and three dimensions on a variety of platforms from canvases to t-shirts.

The free, all-volunteer event begins at 4 p.m. Friday, April 22, and ends at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 24.

Come out for Art in the Square. You won’t be disappointed.”
