If you’re looking for family fun for the Fourth of July, definitely head to Southlake and the other communities surrounding Lake Grapevine – Flower Mound, Grapevine and Trophy Club.

These towns have everything from live music, children’s play areas, great food and the grand finale – fireworks.

Southlake Stars & Stripes 2016

 FIREWORKS! Start at 9:30 PM 

Plenty of activities and entertainment will be all throughout Southlake Town Square including candy art, balloon artists, strolling characters, live entertainment, free jumps at Springtime Trampoline, and a spectacular fireworks show to celebrate the anniversary of our country’s freedom!

The festivities will kick-off with patriotic music starting at 6:00 p.m. at Rustin Pavilion and Frank Edgar Cornish, IV Park. Relax and enjoy the rest of the evening with music and fun activities.

The Southlake Community Band, Lone Star Attitude Band and Limelight Band, along with various patriotic ceremonies will entertain the crowd with live performances. Kids of all ages will be able to create patriotic crafts at Creation Station. In addition to crafts, KidZone will also offer exciting games and inflatables. Enjoy numerous concessions to entertain all taste buds, including new options for every palate!

After the sun goes down, fireworks will illuminate the sky at 9:30 p.m. Launched from the rooftop of the west parking garage and synchronized to patriotic favorites, experience the show from nearly anywhere in Southlake Town Square. Be sure to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a comfortable viewing experience.

FIREWORKS! Start at 9:50 PM

Celebrate America’s freedom with the Town of Flower Mound at Independence Fest 2016, presented by Market Street! Headlined by Loverboy, this year’s Independence Fest will continue to build on the success of previous years to be a great day of celebration. As always, admission and parking are FREE!

A full day of activities begins with the annual Children’s Parade at the Lewisville ISD School Administration Building at 1800 Timber Creek Road, and concludes with a fantastic fireworks finale at around 9:50 p.m. that follows the free concert featuring Loverboy at Bakersfield Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. Please note: there will be no on-site parking.

Independence Fest 2016 will also host performances from crowd favorite Le Freak, plus a vintage car show, a showcase of our local businesses, food and drinks for the whole family, and a completely FREE Kid’s Zone with bounce houses, face painting and more.

Relax and enjoy this great Grapevine tradition with the entire family on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. Designated viewing areas include lakeside parks and the rooftop of Gaylord Texan parking garage. Fireworks will continue rain or shine. If there is extreme weather or heavy rain at 9:30 p.m. the fireworks show will start after the weather has passed.

The July Fourth Celebration is Trophy Club’s largest event of the year and residents love celebrating our red, white and blue roots! There is a full day of fun, patriotic events planned on Monday, July 4, 2016.

Patriot 5K and Fun Run (begins at 7:15 a.m.)

Parade of Patriots (begins at 9:30 a.m.)

Celebration and Fireworks (6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.)
